Cold & Deep! I crossed the first one 8 times up and 8 back getting kids and gear across, then decided the second was too deep and cold. Not being able to see the other side was kind of a deal breaker too. We thought the boys would be willing to swim at least..maybe in the middle of a dry summer. We'll remember this hike for a while for sure.
